Job Overview
This role involves assessing the condition of equipment using various indicators and real-time data to prioritize maintenance activities. The goal is to reduce costs and downtime while ensuring optimal asset performance. Implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as Just In Time, Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, and PDCA is key to improving efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate asset conditions to determine their status for optimized maintenance scheduling.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance operational processes.
- Develop and refine processes, tools, and training programs to quickly adapt to customer demands and market shifts while maintaining quality and cost control.
- Conduct inspections and tests on tools, spare parts, raw materials, in-progress and finished products using diverse laboratory equipment to identify deviations from standards.
- Effectively organize and plan work and project tasks to achieve both immediate and future goals.
