Production Operator

Job Overview

The Production Operator is responsible for ensuring efficient and consistent production processes by managing machine operations and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm the presence of all necessary documents such as JFT, IFM, and Bag tags before initiating new production jobs to reduce downtime and maintain steady production flow.
• Operate machinery strictly following Work Instructions and IFM guidelines to maintain safe and effective functionality.
• Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, seeking assistance when necessary to minimize stoppages and boost productivity.
• Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) inspectors to verify that product quality at startup meets specifications.
• Perform quality checks based on the operator self-inspection sheet (OCL) and document the inspection.
• Report any detected quality issues promptly to the QC team and Team Leader for corrective measures.
• Coordinate with the Team Leader to request maintenance support for corrective repairs when required.
• Delegate tasks to helpers to maintain organized production operations and uphold 5S standards at the machines and surrounding areas.
• Inform helpers about the types of bags and pallets required and configure the filling scale for correct bag weight.
• Log daily production data into the Daily Production Report (DPR) and the ERP system, then communicate to the Team Leader to track production activity.
• Complete machine parameter forms and submit to the Team Leader for approval and system recording to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Verify product and pallet labels ensuring accurate details and proper packing methods.
