Role Overview
We are seeking an Operations Team Member at Lysaght’s Launceston facility. This role involves working in production, operating machinery to produce steel products while prioritizing safety, product quality, and team welfare. No prior operations experience is needed as full training will be provided.
Work Schedule and Rewards
This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, with day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Team members receive a quarterly bonus and access to ongoing training and career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute actively to maintaining a safe workplace.
- Operate machinery involved in manufacturing steel products.
- Safely pack and strap steel products for dispatch.
- Carry out maintenance and cleaning tasks on machinery.
- Learn to operate overhead gantry cranes and forklifts with training provided.
