Operations Manager

Job Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing facility management services across an extensive portfolio, ensuring high standards in operations, contract adherence, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position demands strong leadership qualities and technical expertise in civil and architectural systems.

Primary Duties

• Oversee daily facility management activities ensuring all services comply with contractual service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead and coordinate teams including supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Supervise civil, architectural, and general building maintenance operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with Qatari regulations, health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards, quality controls, and client protocols.
• Manage overall operational performance including resource allocation, reporting, risk management, and implementation of corrective measures.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to promptly resolve any operational issues.
• Promote continual improvement initiatives to uphold and enhance service delivery standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 7 years focused on Facility Management.
• Experience working in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region managing large-scale facility management projects.
• Previous work within educational institutions such as schools or kindergartens is highly desirable.
• Expertise in civil and architectural system management.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is required.
• Possession of MMUP/UPDA certification is favorable.
