Online Fulfilment Assistant

Role Summary

We are seeking motivated individuals to join the Boots.ie in-store order picking team in Cork. Reporting to the Assistant or Store Manager, your primary duties involve picking and packing online customer orders accurately, managing stock in the back shop and stock room, supporting deliveries, and assisting with stock control tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and package online orders to a high standard using handheld devices.
• Gather necessary details for order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Find all required items within the store's picking areas.
• Operate Pod equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, safety protocols, and legal requirements related to order fulfillment.
• Contribute to broader store operations as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• Basic knowledge or understanding of online pick/pack operations.
• Ability to follow processes accurately while working quickly.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Enjoy collaboration and teamwork.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Comfortable using digital technologies including handheld mobile devices for processing orders.
• Passion for excellent customer service; occasionally supporting front-of-store customers.
• Flexible availability regarding work hours and shifts.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience working in retail or warehouse operational settings.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Experience using handheld Pods and IT systems.
