Oncology Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Oncology Specialist to provide expert patient care and contribute to our medical team's excellence at Fakeeh Care Group in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care within the scope of granted privileges adhering to established standards and Fakeeh Care protocols.
• Accurately document all care provided according to institutional guidelines.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to communicate effectively with in-patients and deliver patient education.
• Perform or assist with medical and surgical procedures permitted within privileges.
• Prepare and supply medical reports upon patient requests promptly, following Fakeeh Care’s documentation format.
• Participate in departmental meetings, scientific sessions, and contribute to the training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Comprehend and apply Fakeeh Care policies and procedures actively.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and prevention strategies.
• Execute additional duties as assigned within the role's scope and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant clinical experience as specified by regional health regulatory authorities within oncology at accredited medical institutions.
• Possession of Board Certification, Fellowship, or Master’s degree in Oncology.
• Valid medical practice license according to regional health authorities (e.g., SCFHS, DHA).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); advanced certifications if applicable.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent communication abilities with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to perform well in high-pressure environments.
