Job Overview
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you will cultivate essential skills in a high-speed retail setting by efficiently picking, packing, and dispatching online orders. Accuracy, product quality, and excellent customer service are paramount, alongside adherence to safety and food hygiene protocols. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth online shopping experiences that foster customer confidence and loyalty and suits candidates interested in retail and customer service roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature-controlled sections ensuring timely delivery.
- Accurately pack orders by verifying product selection, quantity, and codes.
- Choose fresh, high-standard products while eliminating damaged or inappropriate items.
- Complete relevant documentation and labeling precisely, including pick slips and shipping labels.
- Optimize packing tote space efficiently while maintaining product safety and quality.
- Balance order fulfillment duties with proactive customer support and issue resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety by following food hygiene procedures, promptly cleaning spills, and sanitizing totes.
- Operate equipment safely and perform mandatory safety checks.
- Demonstrate flexibility in task execution and contribute suggestions to enhance processes and customer satisfaction.
- Be willing to work diverse shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business requirements.
Challenges
- Manage a fast-paced workload, including high volume restocking and recovery, efficiently and accurately.
- Stay focused and energized during overnight shifts through effective planning.
- Handle physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting inventory or supplies up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive tasks like stocking and zoning consistently while maintaining store standards.

Compensation
The starting minimum hourly wage for this role is $16.65 CAD.
Minimum Eligibility
