Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and assemble customers’ orders from different temperature zones, confirming correct quantities and product selections for prompt delivery.
• Maintain high standards of product quality by choosing fresh items and excluding damaged or inappropriate goods. Accurately complete necessary paperwork and labeling including pick slips and shipping tags.
• Efficiently pack orders using space effectively while preserving product safety and quality.
• Balance order fulfillment duties with customer assistance, helping solve problems and engaging positively with shoppers and team members.
• Comply with all safety protocols, food hygiene standards, keep the work area tidy, promptly clean spills, and ensure totes are sanitized before reuse. Operate related equipment safely and participate in routine safety checks. Proactively suggest improvements to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate flexibility by being available for varied shifts, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to the store’s operational needs.

Challenges Inherent to the Role

• Effectively handle large task volumes in a fast-moving environment, including managing overnight shifts and maintaining energy and focus.
• Physically demanding duties such as prolonged standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly, with occasional loads up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive tasks like stocking, zoning, and organizing while maintaining attention to detail and consistent store presentation standards.
