Job description
Position Overview
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada, you will gain valuable experience in a high-energy retail setting by efficiently picking, packing, and preparing online customer orders. Emphasizing accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction, you will follow strict safety and food hygiene practices. Your contribution helps ensure a smooth online shopping experience that builds customer trust and loyalty. This role is ideal for those interested in customer service or retail operations.
Key Duties
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones, ensuring product accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain product quality by choosing fresh items and discarding unsuitable ones; complete all associated documentation such as pick slips and labels accurately.
- Efficiently pack orders maximizing space utilization while preserving product condition and adhering to safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer support and team assistance by balancing order fulfillment tasks with positive interactions and problem resolution.
- Uphold safety, food hygiene, and quality standards by keeping work areas clean, promptly addressing spills, safely operating equipment, and performing routine safety checks.
- Demonstrate flexibility by contributing process improvement ideas and adapting to shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Challenges
- Manage high volumes of tasks in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Adapt to overnight shifts and maintain energy and focus throughout work hours through effective planning.
- Handle physical demands such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive stocking and organizing duties with attention to consistency and detail.

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $17.75 per hour.
Minimum Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
