Job description
Position Overview
The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a vital role in assisting customers by managing their assigned section efficiently. The associate supports the OTC Department or Pharmacy Manager by ensuring the section is properly organized and presented, while delivering exemplary customer service in accordance with Walmart's core beliefs and values.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Protecting patient confidentiality by strictly adhering to all protocols aligned with the Privacy Act.
- Working towards maximizing sales and profitability in the department under guidance from the Pharmacy Manager.
- Regularly rotating products and monitoring expiry dates to maintain stock integrity.
- Maintaining orderliness within the department through effective zoning and organization.
- Carrying out processes related to ordering, clearances, price markups and markdowns, and managing pricing labels and signage properly.
- Ensuring the work area is clean, free from clutter, debris, liquids, and without unnecessary fixtures.
- Confirming pricing accuracy to achieve zero errors through programs like Scanning Credibility.
- Calibrating equipment utilized in the prescription fulfillment process to maintain operational standards.
Compensation
The entry hourly wage for this position begins at $17.75.

- Applicants must be aged 16 years or older.
