Position Overview
The OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate role at Walmart Canada is an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to gain experience in a fast-moving retail setup. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully picks and assembles customer orders from various temperature zones, ensuring accuracy to meet delivery schedules.
- Packs orders attentively, confirming correct product selection, quantities, and codes.
- Inspects products to guarantee freshness and quality, rejecting any damaged or unsuitable items.
- Accurately completes all necessary documentation and labeling, including pick slips and shipping labels.
- Packs totes efficiently to optimize space utilization while maintaining product safety and quality.
- Balances fulfillment duties with positive customer interactions, offering support and resolving issues when necessary.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in the work area by following food hygiene and safety procedures, promptly cleaning spills, and ensuring totes are sanitized before use.
- Operates equipment safely and conducts required safety inspections.
- Demonstrates adaptability with work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations.
- Contributes ideas to enhance processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Challenges in This Role
- Effectively handles high task volumes in a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight shifts, by managing energy and maintaining focus.
- Performs physical activities such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Engages in repetitive tasks like stocking, zoning, and organizing products to maintain store standards consistently.

Compensation
The minimum starting wage for this role is CAD 16.90 per hour.
