Role Overview
As an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate at Walmart Canada in Kelowna, you will develop critical skills within a high-energy retail environment. Your main tasks include picking, packing, and preparing online customer orders with an emphasis on precision, quality, and customer satisfaction. Following strict food safety and hygiene guidelines is essential to the role. By delivering a smooth online shopping experience, you help to cultivate customer trust and loyalty. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately select and assemble online orders from various temperature zones, ensuring correct products and quantities are included and packed carefully.
- Maintain order accuracy by choosing fresh, high-quality items, rejecting damaged goods, and completing all necessary labeling and documentation such as pick slips and shipping tags.
- Organize packing efficiently to maximize space while preserving product quality and safety standards.
- Provide support to customers and assist team operations, balancing task completion with positive customer interaction and issue resolution.
- Uphold safety and food hygiene protocols by promptly cleaning spills, maintaining tidy workspaces, inspecting totes for cleanliness, safely operating equipment, and performing safety checks.
- Contribute ideas to enhance processes, productivity, and customer experience.
- Demonstrate flexibility by being willing to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands.
Challenges You May Encounter
- Manage a fast-paced workload, including overnight shifts, by effectively planning to stay energized and focused throughout.
- Execute physically demanding tasks such as long periods of standing, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Perform repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing while maintaining high store standards and attention to detail.

Compensation
The starting wage for this role is $18.40 per hour.
