About the Role
Joining Walmart Canada as an OMNI Customer Fulfillment Associate offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in a fast-moving retail setting. The role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and dispatching online customer orders with strong attention to quality, precision, and safety. By ensuring customers receive their orders smoothly, you help foster trust and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully select and assemble customer orders from various temperature zones to ensure timely delivery, verifying product types, quantities, and item codes.
- Maintain high product quality by choosing fresh items and eliminating any damaged goods, along with completing necessary labels and documentation properly.
- Efficiently pack items to optimize space while protecting product integrity and observing safety and hygiene protocols.
- Support both customers and team members by balancing order fulfillment with positive interactions and assisting in issue resolution.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment by following food hygiene guidelines, cleaning spills promptly, and performing safety equipment checks.
- Be flexible to work diverse shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
Challenges in the Role
- Managing high volumes of tasks within a fast-paced environment, particularly during overnight hours, requiring good energy and focus planning.
- Performing physically demanding duties such as extended standing, bending, and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Consistently completing repetitive activities like stocking, zoning, and organizing with meticulous attention to maintain store standards.

Compensation
The position offers a starting hourly wage of $18.40 CAD.
