Job description
Job Overview
Our client is developing a new manufacturing and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) capability and requires an experienced and proactive NDT Level 3 specialist. The role involves not only performing and supervising NDT operations but also playing a crucial part in establishing and qualifying the NDT facility and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Expertise
- Hold NDT Level III qualification.
- Possess knowledge and experience with NAS 410 and EN 4179 standards.
- Demonstrate strong capability in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI).
- Have expertise in metallic inspections including materials such as Nickel, Steel, Aluminium, and Titanium.
- Bring background experience in aerospace manufacturing settings.
- Experience in setting up and qualifying NDT processes and facilities is highly valuable.
