Role Summary

The MWR Specialist will execute daily operational duties within one or more functional areas such as Housekeeping/Custodial services, Community Activities Centers, Linen Exchange, Fitness Center, Lounge operations, or Media Center. Responsibilities encompass activities including but not limited to handling alcoholic beverage service, delivering customer care, providing media assistance, managing linen exchange, performing custodial tasks, supporting fitness front desk operations, coordinating event planning, performing basic facility and equipment maintenance, and conducting games and other designated supporting functions per the Performance Work Statement. This position reports to the designated Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exemplary customer service across recreational services, fitness center, lounge operations, linen exchange, and housekeeping/custodial areas.
• Maintain courteous interactions with customers and effectively communicate all items in English.
• Ensure all working areas are safe, sanitary, clean, dust-free, organized, and visually professional.
• Complete all mandated company and government training programs diligently.
• Safeguard and properly use all government and contractor property such as facilities, equipment, and tools.
• Adhere strictly to company procedures for accurate and timely completion of time reporting and timesheets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship accompanied by a valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License.
• Successful host country vetting approval.
• Fluency in English with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language proficiently.
• Ability to meet employment prerequisites including medical, dental, drug testing, and background screening.

Security Clearance

• Possession and maintenance of an active U.S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance at job offer and continuously throughout employment.

Experience and Skills

• At least one year’s prior experience in customer service related to retail, hotel front desk, or restaurant operations.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork capability, effective decision-making, and customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in operating audio and visual equipment.

Work Environment & Conditions

• Work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor requirements for events.
• Potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals.
• May require overtime and varied shifts depending on contract requirements.
• Obligation to comply with all applicable Federal, State, Local regulations, company policies, and work instructions.
• Provision of task-specific environment training as needed.
• Must be prepared to operate in wartime settings supporting U.S. interests.
• Position requires 100% overseas deployment.
