Role Overview

As a Modern Workplace Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of the organisation's workplace and collaboration technologies. Your support will extend to global teams by resolving technical issues and handling escalations while driving improvements across the Modern Workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and platforms.
  • Ensure workplace technology services perform reliably and efficiently.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems and manage escalation processes.
  • Collaborate closely with service desk and technical teams to deliver support.
  • Uphold governance, security, and compliance standards across technology platforms.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to systems to improve user experience and efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange administration.
  • Hands-on experience with workplace collaboration platforms like Egnyte or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with identity and device management solutions, including Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and collaborate with international teams.
  • Understanding of technology governance, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or working within a Modern Workplace setting.
  • Background working within structured service environments, supporting service desk operations.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications will be considered an asset.
