Job description
Overview
We are seeking a professional Mobile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with a focus in either Electrical or Mechanical disciplines. The role is based in Northampton with travel around the region. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, reactive troubleshooting, repairs, and occasional installations within a core contract area.
- Adhere consistently to high standards, ensuring client satisfaction and contract compliance.
- Work independently in executing planned tasks, maintaining compliance with specifications, scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM), and procedures.
- Accurately complete electronic and paper-based maintenance records and documentation.
- Provide quotations for additional maintenance actions as needed.
- Conduct required electrical testing and document results after completing electrical repairs and installations.
- Serve on a rota basis to provide emergency call-out support, responding promptly to urgent client issues to sustain operational continuity.
- Diagnose system faults effectively and take immediate actions to secure safety and prevent environmental degradation on client premises.
Qualifications and Experience
- Formal electrical qualification.
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
- Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Mechanical or Plumbing fields.
- Proven experience in a similar facilities management maintenance role.
- Valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
