Mobile Engineer Flutter iOS - FinTech

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Mobile Engineer specializing in Flutter for iOS platforms to work at a dynamic FinTech scale-up in Newcastle. This company, supported by prominent investors and collaborating with a leading Hedge Fund, is developing an innovative investment platform. You will be instrumental in building a new Flutter-based iOS Order Management System that provides real-time market monitoring, trade execution, and advanced financial data visualization.

Responsibilities

As part of a skilled engineering team, you will focus on delivering performant, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications where speed and accuracy are crucial. Your role includes designing and implementing complex features for a high-performance trading platform used by financial professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical/scientific discipline from a top-tier university with at least a 2.1 classification.
• Strong academic background with minimum A A B grades at A-level.
• Experience developing mobile applications using Flutter or similar frameworks such as React Native.
• Comprehensive understanding of core Computer Science principles including Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets and trading concepts.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team.

Additional Information

• Work location: Central Newcastle office.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some flexibility.
