About the Role
The Internal Security Department (ISD) is dedicated to safeguarding Singapore's internal security and maintaining stability. For more than 75 years, ISD and its predecessor have played a key role in combating diverse security threats including foreign subversive influences, espionage, racial and religious extremism, and terrorism. Key Responsibilities
- Designing, conceptualizing, and developing mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Develop Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and Native C programming languages.
- Create iOS applications utilizing Swift programming language.
- Conduct thorough unit testing to verify app usability, robustness, edge case handling, and overall reliability.
- Collaborate with teammates through the use of software version control systems.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient with Android Studio, Java, Android SDK, and Android system architecture.
- Experienced with XCode, Swift, iOS SDK, and iOS architecture.
- Competent in programming for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as GIT or SVN.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development using JSON and XML.
- Knowledgeable in setting up and maintaining web servers on the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
- Applicants must be Singaporean citizens.
