Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard customer privacy by strictly maintaining confidentiality.

• Make sound decisions when confronted with ambiguous or partial information during task performance.

• Support daily operational deliverables spanning various assigned task types individually and within the team.
• Investigate root causes of errors, recognize patterns, and suggest enhancements to improve labeling quality and efficiency.
• Identify operational bottlenecks in procedures or tools and recommend improvements to streamline workflow.
• Take ownership in providing floor support to address internal queries during task execution as needed.

A Typical Workday

The ML Data Associate will primarily conduct foundational labeling duties such as evaluating dialogues in speech, text, audio, and video datasets. The role demands sharp concentration, multitasking aptitude, and scrupulous attention to detail while adhering rigorously to confidentiality policies and Amazon’s information security standards. Qualifications

Basic:

• Associate's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Proficiency at the C1+ level or equivalent fluency in the designated language per regional requirements.
• Strong professional writing skills capable of producing reports, proposals, and formal correspondence.
• Advanced reading and comprehension abilities to analyze complex business documentation.
• Developed analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply detailed instructions across diverse projects.
• Proficient research competencies, gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
• Meticulous attention to detail while managing complex tasks and documents.
• Experience liaising and managing relationships with stakeholders across departments.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used business applications.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (may vary by region).
• At least two years of professional experience demonstrating effective task execution.
• Proven ability to utilize open-source resources for thorough research.
• Capability to adapt swiftly in fast-paced, evolving environments with fluctuating priorities and strategies.
• Two to three years of experience in project coordination or management within support functions.
