Role Overview
We are currently seeking a data analytics expert who will develop automated reports and data pipelines to support business decision-making based on data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting and acquiring data from various sources such as databases, ERP systems, Google Sheets, and APIs.
- Cleaning and transforming data utilizing data cleaning and wrangling techniques.
- Developing comprehensive reports and dashboards.
- Designing effective data visualizations by selecting appropriate visual formats to clearly communicate information.
- Providing timely support to business units by addressing ad-hoc queries and assisting report consumers.
- Documenting methodologies for analysis, data sources, and KPI calculation logic.
- Automating report generation, minimizing manual operations through ETL tools or scheduling features within BI platforms.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced SQL skills including writing complex queries with JOINs, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and window functions to extract necessary data segments.
- Expertise in designing and implementing reliable data pipelines and ETL processes for consolidating data from multiple sources into unified storage solutions such as data warehouses or data lakes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Google BigQuery and Databricks.
- Proficiency in data storytelling: the ability to not only present data visually but also craft persuasive narratives that lead to actionable business decisions, including structuring presentations and clear communication.
- Strong familiarity with Power BI toolset.
- Technical stack knowledge including SQL, Power BI, Google BigQuery, Databricks, and Python programming language.
