Job description
Overview
Join a community-focused, locally owned store to provide health, beauty, and convenience services, ensuring the customer is always the top priority.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrange and organize backroom inventory following established Backroom Inventory Management processes.
- Utilize PDT and MMS systems daily to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Manage product exit strategies and returns as directed.
- Maintain expertise in assigned product categories, focusing on inventory accuracy, proper placement, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Uphold store standards related to visual merchandising and current trends.
- Create product displays that are attractive and easy for customers to shop.
Receiving
- Receive merchandise compliant with company receiving policies and procedures.
- Keep the backroom clean and organized based on best backroom organization practices.
- Complete all necessary documentation for product receiving and returns.
- Assist Front Store Manager and Assistant Front Store Manager in upholding quality and store standards.
Customer Service
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance adhering to uniform and dress code policies.
- Proactively engage and assist customers in the store aisles.
General Responsibilities
- Follow all health and safety regulations strictly.
- Adhere to all store policies and standards.
- Comply with loss prevention procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong skills in planning, judgment, and decision-making.
- Demonstrated efficiency, organization, and attention to neatness.
- Ability to adapt to changing floor situations.
- If involved in cash handling, high accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders.
- Basic experience with computers and cash registers.
- Well-developed organizational skills and record keeping ability.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
Working Conditions
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
Physical Demands
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely climb ladders as required.
