Merchandiser - Merchandising Operations

Job Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Merchandiser to oversee the full merchandising lifecycle, from product planning and supplier coordination to production monitoring and order fulfillment. This role requires close collaboration with buyers, vendors, production units, and logistics to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete merchandising workflow beginning with product development through to final product delivery.
• Liaise effectively with buyers, suppliers, production teams, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Monitor and manage orders, production timetables, inventory levels, and delivery dates.
• Handle vendor communications, conduct negotiations, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Ensure that all merchandise meets predefined quality and delivery criteria.
• Detect and resolve any operational or supply chain challenges promptly.
• Maintain and update reports and data utilizing MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Operate ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms for streamlined processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of merchandising, product sourcing, and supply chain management processes.
• Proven skills in vendor management and effective negotiation techniques.
• Familiarity with inventory control and production scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational capabilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with multiple stakeholders.

• Salary Range: ₹5.0 LPA to ₹5.5 LPA
