MEP Draftsman – Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous MEP Draftsman to assist in the design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for infrastructure projects. The position requires ensuring drawings meet project requirements and adhere to industry standards.

Key Duties

• Create detailed shop drawings and layouts for MEP systems derived from engineering designs.
• Convert engineering ideas and calculations into precise technical drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams to prevent design clashes.
• Revise drawings in response to design modifications and on-site feedback.
• Keep drawing records and documentation systematically organized according to project protocols.
• Provide site teams with accurate as-built drawings and assist with technical queries.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent drafting discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting MEP for infrastructure-related projects.
• Proficient user of AutoCAD in both 2D and 3D environments; familiarity with Revit MEP is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MEP systems and infrastructure design criteria.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to manage work under tight deadlines.
