Medical Manager

Summary

The Medical Manager is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and execution of Medical Affairs strategies within a designated Therapy Area. This customer-facing role involves providing scientific information, assisting in clinical study design and organization, and fostering educational dialogue with Medical Experts (MEs) and regulatory stakeholders.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and accurately to medical inquiries, ensuring compliance while also developing standard response documents as needed.
• Provide expert medical and scientific contributions to clinical trial activities, including initiation and oversight specific to the therapy area.
• Support local evidence-generation endeavors such as non-interventional and investigator-initiated trials.
• Establish and nurture scientific partnerships across the disease progression by engaging medical experts, supporting publication efforts, and contributing to data generation initiatives.
• Review and authorize medical and promotional materials ensuring alignment with both local and global compliance standards.
• Convey actionable medical insights to a broad range of cross-functional teams including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality, and Commercial departments.
• Manage responsibilities balanced equally between external stakeholder engagement (50%) and office-based tasks (50%).

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD).
• Have at least two years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry; experience in Neuroscience is advantageous.
• Demonstrate a strong track record of building credible relationships with medical experts and key decision-makers.
• Understand clinical research processes, evidence generation, and the dynamics of evolving therapeutic landscapes thoroughly.
• Ability to translate scientific findings into impactful cross-functional initiatives.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and data analytics to support stakeholder engagement, collect insights, and guide decisions.
• Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills within a matrix organizational structure.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
