Job Summary

Reporting to executive leadership, the Medical Director for UAE will oversee clinical operations in Dubai while maintaining direct patient care through radiology practice. This high-profile role integrates clinical leadership, radiological expertise, operational collaboration, physician mentorship, and patient liaison duties. The position requires a licensed physician authorized to work legally in the UAE without visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical strategy and medical operations of Prenuvo Radiology in the UAE.
• Maintain active clinical duties by interpreting whole-body MRI scans and reviewing imaging reports, committing up to half of work time.
• Provide expert consultation on complex cases and offer second opinions.
• Serve as the senior clinical resource supporting physicians, radiologists, and clinic staff.
• Collaborate with global clinical leadership to ensure adherence to Prenuvo's clinical standards.
• Lead initiatives for quality assurance including peer reviews, audits, and continuous clinical improvement.
• Mentor radiologists and physicians, supporting onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing professional development.
• Promote a culture focused on clinical excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care.
• Manage complex patient cases, resolve escalations and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Ensure consistently outstanding patient experiences aligned with the company's premium care model.
• Act as Prenuvo’s clinical representative in the UAE healthcare ecosystem, liaising with healthcare partners and regulatory bodies.
• Provide insights on regional healthcare trends, recruitment, and market opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product, Quality, Commercial) to optimize workflows and scale clinical services.
• Support integration of AI-driven workflows and advance preventative imaging practices.
• Standardize clinical reporting, pathways and best practices regionally.
• Champion innovation while maintaining patient safety and clinical governance standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Medical degree with specialist certification in Radiology.
• Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) medical license.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience within the UAE healthcare system.
• International medical training, preferably in Radiology, from recognized UK, Australian, US, or European institutions.
• Strong familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations, licensing, and clinical governance.
• Proven expertise in interpreting MRI scans in a diagnostic imaging setting of high quality.
• Leadership experience managing physicians or multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Demonstrated success in leading clinical quality improvement and physician education.
• Excellent clinical judgement for handling complex patient scenarios.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Experience leading private, for-profit clinical enterprises preferred.
• Experience implementing advanced clinical technologies and innovative services is advantageous.
