Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive and commercially competitive estimates for mechanical or electrical works.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents thoroughly.
• Create precise pricing and tender submissions ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate closely with pre-construction, commercial, design, and project teams to align estimating efforts.
• Identify and evaluate commercial risks, potential value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Manage multiple tender projects simultaneously from initiation to submission.
• Enhance estimating procedures by contributing to process improvements and best practices.
• Assume increasing responsibilities with a clear advancement path toward an Estimating Manager role.

Candidate Profile

• Established experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Estimator within MEP contracting or specialist building services.
• Proven skills in pricing large, technically sophisticated projects.
• Strong commercial insight and business acumen.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work outputs.
• Effective communication and negotiation capabilities.
