Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer will oversee mechanical installations primarily focused on pumps and lift stations. Responsibilities include monitoring contractor performance, reviewing submitted technical documents, and confirming the correct execution and testing of mechanical systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4 to 7 years of professional experience
- Experience within infrastructure projects
- Proven expertise with pumps and lift stations
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical work related to pumps and lift stations
- Review and approve technical submissions from contractors
- Oversee installation processes and conduct testing procedures
Key Skills and Attributes
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, especially pumps
- Ability to conduct and supervise testing protocols
- Highly analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail
