About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer specialized in software to maintain and support corporate systems and applications. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, addressing faults, and coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive technical assistance for software applications and systems.
- Identify and resolve issues impacting applications, databases, servers, and system integrations.
- Analyze error logs and pinpoint root causes of system malfunctions.
- Provide support for applications developed in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and the .NET framework.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server including writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
- Test and maintain REST APIs, Web Services, JSON, and XML using tools like Postman or equivalent.
- Manage Windows Server and IIS environments, including installation, configuration, and updates.
- Document faults and corrective actions while escalating software errors to development teams when necessary.
- Monitor support tickets and maintain effective communication with clients and users per service level agreements (SLA).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Between 2 to 4 years of experience in software technical support or application support roles.
- Strong expertise with C#, ASP.NET, .NET framework, SQL Server, IIS, and Windows Server.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, system integration, and log analysis.
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals including IP, DNS, Ports, TCP/IP protocols, and Firewalls.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting enterprise systems such as HR, Workforce Management, Identity Management, Access Control, or systems integrated with hardware devices is advantageous.
