Role Overview

The Meat Wrapper plays a vital role in delivering high-quality service through professional, prompt, and accurate completion of all assigned duties. This position centers on exemplary customer service, promoting repeat patronage, fulfilling customer needs, and contributing actively to a positive team and customer atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply rigorously with Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies, Health and Safety regulations, and related initiatives.
• Offer attentive customer service catering to shopper requirements.
• Precisely wrap, package, price, label, and date meat and poultry products, managing financial accountability.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and presentable workspace at all times.
• Organize, handle, and rotate products per company standards to ensure freshness.
• Accurately document information in appropriate logs and records.
• Execute merchandising and product presentation adhering to corporate standards.
• Prepare and handle deli items following quality and food safety guidelines.
• Actively promote products to boost sales within the store.
• Assist in training junior employees as needed.
• Order and receive stock consistent with inventory management procedures.
• Maintain and ready meat products for display in service cases when applicable.
• Manage department shrinkage processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
