Position Summary

This onsite role reports to the Planning and Fulfillment Team Lead within the Electrification Smart Buildings Business Area. As a Material Planner, you ensure production reliability through strategic material planning, supplier coordination, and inventory management. Your focus will be on aligning supply with demand to maintain high service levels while reducing working capital and minimizing stock shortages or excess.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP), issue purchase orders, and expedite critical materials to meet production timelines.
• Optimize inventory levels by addressing root causes of excess or obsolete stock and monitoring key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, days on hand, and supplier performance.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, oversee replenishment processes, resolve urgent supply concerns, and coordinate invoice and payment follow-ups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse to ensure seamless operations and consistent delivery.
• Promote operational excellence through daily material reviews, proactive risk management, and initiatives that improve working capital efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in a similar material planning role.
• Solid understanding of material planning functions within ERP systems is beneficial.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• A strong enthusiasm for continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.
