Role Overview
Serving as a senior leader within the Planning and Supply team, this pivotal position directs the allocation and distribution of Zespri's $5 billion New Zealand kiwifruit supply. The Market Supply Manager will lead a skilled team, coordinating with Commercial, Quality, Technical, and Shipping departments to ensure efficient operations and market alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and nurture the Market Supply Team by offering technical guidance, addressing challenges, and refining operational processes.
- Handle team management including performance oversight, fostering positive culture, communication, and recruitment initiatives.
- Manage customer orders through SAP, ensuring optimal service standards and regulatory compliance across domestic and international markets.
- Ensure adherence to commercial frameworks, supervise quality assurance, and maintain direct domestic sales relationships.
- Resolve quality concerns and oversee the efficient sale of products that are not exported.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related disciplines is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven extensive leadership experience in supply chain, operations, or commercial functions.
- Strong negotiation capabilities coupled with excellent stakeholder relationship skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, particularly from February through October, including occasional weekends and after-hours as necessary.
