Job Location and Work Model
This position is based at 22 Bishopsgate, City of London, London EC2N 4A, with a hybrid work arrangement.
Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional fluent in French to join our team as a Maps Reporting Specialist. The role requires providing outstanding customer support related to our maps services, analyzing and reporting geospatial data to maintain accuracy and quality, and collaborating with an international team to enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional support for map-related inquiries and tasks.
- Set up, configure, and maintain devices for editing, testing, and documentation following project guidelines.
- Provide regular updates and communicate status to the Apple manager.
- Coordinate with various support groups within the project.
- Verify information through direct communication if necessary.
- Summarize and interpret information from multiple verbal and written sources.
- Adapt to new projects and processes efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Fluency in both spoken and written French and English is mandatory; all materials and communications are in English.
- Completion of graduation or 15 years of formal education is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in technical support or other problem-solving roles.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English assessed via a project communication test.
- Interest in mapping is preferred but not compulsory.
- Experience using Mac OS X is advantageous.
- Skilled researcher comfortable with diverse online resources.
- Attention to detail and self-motivation are essential.
- Prior customer service experience, especially in communications, is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of QGIS would be beneficial.
- Ability to maintain a positive demeanor and focus during repetitive tasks.
- Capability to distinguish nuanced meanings in complex communication scenarios.
- Written and verbal fluency in the required languages without the assistance of translation tools.
