Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, run, and service conventional and CNC equipment such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, and Broaching machines within the production cell/process.
- Set up and operate precision measurement tools, gages, and fixtures to ensure accurate inspection and quality control.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with machinery promptly.
- Interpret technical blueprints and drawings accurately to perform production tasks.
- Keep accurate shop documentation and conduct work aligned with technical specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized workspaces, including machinery and benches, after use.
- Report any machine or tooling malfunctions immediately to supervisors to avoid compromising product quality or safety conditions.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess NITEC or Higher NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a precision engineering or related manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate basic proficiency in both spoken and written English.
- Willingness and ability to work on a weekly rotating shift schedule.
