Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview

McHale seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of both new and existing production lines. The goal is to achieve optimal productivity considering quality, volume, and environmental factors.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance efficiency by improving existing operational methods.
• Create and implement new process designs, procedures, and systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production challenges effectively.
• Identify and apply solutions to technical issues during production.
• Optimize workflow to increase production speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Quality and Health & Safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report deviations.
• Design storage and transportation racks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess at minimum a Level 7 Engineering degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to efficiently resolve issues.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and related engineering principles.
• Ability to work diligently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrate a committed work ethic and results-oriented approach.
• Experience with CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Access.
