About the Role
Our client, a highly reputed Australian professional services firm, is seeking a Managing Consultant to lead their Data & Analytics national team in Melbourne. This is a permanent, in-office role—not a contract position. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Snowflake and Databricks technologies, which are critical to the role.
Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage delivery of impactful consulting engagements focused on data strategy and advanced analytics leveraging Snowflake and Databricks platforms.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to design innovative solutions that convert data into actionable business insights.
- Drive business development by leveraging your existing professional network to generate opportunities positioning the firm as a trusted AI and analytics advisor.
- Develop and evolve practice methodologies, tools, and thought leadership around emerging data and AI technologies.
- Mentor and inspire team members, fostering a culture rooted in collaboration and continuous professional growth.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years advisory experience with a focus on Data & Analytics and AI implementations.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, delivering outstanding outcomes to clients.
- Essential hands-on expertise with Snowflake and Databricks platforms is mandatory.
- Strong background in data platform architecture, integration, machine learning, and evolving AI technologies.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and proven ability to nurture long-term client relationships.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and preferably professional memberships in related fields.
