Manager - Visual Merchandiser

Position Overview

The Manager - Visual Merchandiser role involves collaborating closely with Brand Principals, Buyers, Sales Promotion, Marketing, Procurement, and Retail Operations teams to create captivating visual merchandising strategies. The incumbent will develop, refine, and implement display and flow guidelines ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards, as well as lead innovative store format growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate visual merchandising strategies and brand standards targeted at specific business units.
• Interpret strategic merchandising plans to design visual concepts aligned with seasonal and merchant initiatives per the visual merchandising roadmap.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Store Operations to communicate and deploy visual concepts each season effectively.
• Work alongside field Visual Merchandising leadership to maintain consistent and superior execution by providing vision, tools, communication, training materials, and conducting quality audits.
• Drive visual presentation innovations and reinvent projects.
• Develop clear, store-execution-friendly visual merchandising guidelines based on product selections and space considerations.
• Design tailored store and department space allocations and arrangements to enhance consumer appeal and boost sales performance.
• Identify, recruit, and mentor talent for organizational advancement and growth.
• Contribute ideas to overall in-store branding and customer experience, including designing and positioning fixtures, layouts, graphics, and signage to elevate sales and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate on developing new store prototypes and concepts tailored to specific customer needs and market opportunities.
• Offer insights into the scheduling and scope of store remodeling or renovation projects.

Desired Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate will showcase strong artistic and inventive capabilities to craft engaging visual displays, with a robust understanding of the retail setting, customer experience, and store layouts. Prior experience in visual merchandising or related fields is strongly preferred.
