Manager Technology Engineering and Architecture

Overview

We are looking for a strategic Manager of Technology Engineering and Architecture to lead Enviro NZ's IT architecture, standards, and solution design efforts. Enviro NZ is actively reshaping its technology landscape to enhance customer and employee experiences both now and into the future. This newly established leadership role offers a key opportunity to influence the technological direction of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Understand a broad range of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, integration, infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
• Develop and maintain enterprise technology architecture frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Enterprise Platforms, including Dynamics 365 and Azure.
• Contribute to technology strategy that supports practical and responsible application of artificial intelligence.
• Lead technical design authority reviews, ensuring solutions comply with security, privacy, and operational standards.
• Guide technology lifecycle management, system rationalisation, and vendor evaluation processes.
• Possess strong foundations in architecture best practices, such as TOGAF.
• Communicate complex technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
