Your remit will include managing an engineering team, spearheading strategic projects, delivering scalable distributed systems, pioneering cutting-edge database technologies, and playing a vital role in shaping AWS's market competitiveness and growth.
Responsibilities

- Collaborate on broad business and long-term technical strategies with senior leadership, contributing to resource planning and business objective setting.
- Make sound, innovative technical decisions with consistent creativity and judgment.
- Interpret and incorporate the company's wider business context into technical decisions.
- Stay informed about emerging industry trends and technologies.
- Contribute to Amazon’s intellectual property portfolio through patents and publications.
