Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Senior Manager, or Associate Director to join our Transaction Services team. This position involves engaging with some of New Zealand's most prominent transactions and offers diverse exposure across our Deal Advisory service lines.
The role also plays a part in business development through identifying new opportunities, building networks, and promoting KPMG's comprehensive services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client projects, maintaining direct engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide strategic, commercial, and investment advice on complex matters.
- Analyze problems by pinpointing key issues and crafting technically robust solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with senior and mid-level executives and other key stakeholders involved in engagements.
- Demonstrate teamwork excellence and contribute to the development of colleagues.
- Proactively identify new business prospects to add value for clients.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in transaction due diligence or mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
- Chartered accountant or equivalent business/finance qualification required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at simplifying complex issues.
- Enthusiasm for crafting commercial solutions to meet complex economic, social, and business challenges.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and overseeing their technical work.
- Collaborative mindset focused on goal achievement.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities with a commitment to outstanding client service.
