Overview
Join JD Sports, a global leader in sports fashion retail, as a Manager in Training at our busy Rundle Mall location. This role is ideal for current Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, or Department Managers from smaller or slower-paced stores who are ready to step up into managing larger teams and higher turnover environments. The program offers hands-on mentorship and structured development to prepare you for leadership at a high-volume, fast-paced store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire energetic, high-achieving retail teams to consistently deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Manage and improve sales performance, drive key performance indicators (KPIs), and achieve commercial objectives.
- Recruit, train, and develop future store talent, shaping the next generation of leaders.
- Maintain world-class visual merchandising and operational standards, including inventory management and loss prevention.
- Use data analysis to understand business performance and inform decision-making.
- Take charge of larger-format retail environments with increased turnover and complexity.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have demonstrated success in retail leadership roles, ready to grow team size and sales volume. Appropriate backgrounds include current Store Managers in smaller stores, Assistant Store Managers preparing for advancement, or Department Managers experienced in larger retail settings.
