Job Role and Responsibilities

This position, based in Gurgaon (Sector 48) with a hybrid work model and working hours from 12 PM to 10 PM, requires the candidate to hold a role equivalent to an assistant manager on paper with expertise in finance MDM and FP&A.

  • Manage and update financial master data, including chart of accounts and organizational structures, across several systems such as SAP and multiple BPC platforms.
  • Administer account mapping to ensure consistency across key systems.
  • Continuously evaluate how changes in master data affect various systems and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Provide oversight and approval for management accounting reports and financial statements as a design authority.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of the OneERP CIM project.
  • Offer ad hoc support for various reporting needs, including management accounts, budgeting, and impairment assessments.

Required Knowledge and Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high accuracy and quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting across organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to seek guidance appropriately.
  • Methodical adherence to processes and enforcement of relevant policies.
  • Strong capabilities in managing change and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Persuasive negotiation skills to influence outcomes.

Experience and Technical Expertise

  • Extensive financial reporting background aligned with IFRS standards.
  • Insight into complete business process flows and the consequences of system modifications on financial reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge in data architecture and structures, and prior experience with accounting platforms like SAP ERP, SAP BPC, and SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
  • Proven track record in similar roles within large-scale global organizations.

Additional Information

  • This role is an individual contributor position requiring candidates to be on an assistant manager payroll.
  • Working hours are scheduled from 12 PM to 10 PM.
  • The position is based in Gurgaon with a hybrid work setting.
