About the Role
A prominent organization in Qatar is seeking a seasoned Manager to oversee Digital Workplace Services, focusing on end-user technology support, workplace operations, and service excellence initiatives. The role aims to deliver a smooth technology experience for employees through diligent management of IT support, endpoint devices, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage end-user technology support and digital workplace operational activities.
- Supervise services related to desktop, laptops, mobile devices, printing, collaboration tools, and workplace technology.
- Maintain superior service quality by efficiently handling incident, request, and problem management processes.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of endpoints including deployment, asset tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve user experience and operational productivity.
- Establish and track service performance metrics, including KPIs and user satisfaction ratings.
- Administer vendor and service provider partnerships, ensuring contractual service level agreements are fulfilled.
- Support technology-driven projects, workplace transformation efforts, and the rollout of new tools and services.
- Collaborate with business units to assess operational requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team culture centered on customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- At least eight years of experience within IT support, digital workplace services, end-user computing, or service delivery environments.
- Demonstrable leadership experience managing IT support or workplace technology teams.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, IT Service Management (ITSM), and enterprise IT support.
- Experience handling IT asset management, service desk functions, system deployment, and vendor interactions.
- Knowledgeable in ITIL methodologies and service management standards.
- Beneficial to hold certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, CCNA, or equivalents.
