Role Summary
The Manager will be responsible for implementing strategic directions on key transformational projects and commercial partnerships within the Group Corporate Development (GCD) and the wider QNB Group as directed by the Vice President of Special Projects. The position demands ensuring project alignment, successful delivery, and coordination across GCD units.
Responsibilities
- Implement project charters and provide continuous status updates on special project management.
- Manage and monitor commercial partnership agreements, providing regular performance reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with commercial partners and rights holders to adhere to agreed terms and keep projects on track.
- Follow the project plans and roadmaps laid out by the VP-Special Projects, including overseeing budgets and timelines to deliver projects successfully.
- Work with internal and external resources to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and update executive management to address changes in scope, schedule, or costs.
- Collaborate with internal GCD teams to deliver comprehensive and impactful projects aligned with predefined metrics.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party suppliers to ensure continual progress.
- Support the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures governing project management methodologies and techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Marketing.
- Proficiency in English, with Arabic language skills preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and oversee project plans through to implementation.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the capacity to follow initiatives through to completion.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with culturally diverse teams.
