Maintenance Worker

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold and repair the physical infrastructure of the facility to maintain safe and secure operations.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and repair machinery and equipment as needed.
• Install and repair electrical components, wiring, and various apparatus associated with machinery and equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks scheduled under the maintenance plan to ensure operational reliability.
• Supervise and monitor inmates or residents assigned to support maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance or construction is required.
• Relevant technical or trade school coursework in maintenance or construction may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for experience.
• Familiarity with building construction processes and building system operations is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is compulsory.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Additional Information
