Maintenance Technician - Fitter

Work Schedule and Role Type

• Night shift hours: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday
• Permanent full-time position

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out minor installation and commissioning activities as needed
• Execute troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance tasks on production plant and machinery
• Conduct work professionally, efficiently, and safely according to PepsiCo's Safety and Environmental management standards
• Maintain and retrieve data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP)
• Support identification, documentation, and implementation of enhancements in maintenance procedures and plant equipment to boost machine uptime, product quality, and safety
• Collaborate with external contractors when required

Qualifications and Experience

• Trade certificate or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven expertise in diagnosing faults and troubleshooting equipment
• Capability to operate independently and safely in high-pressure environments
• Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills
• Adaptable mindset with willingness to work overtime, various shifts, and attend training sessions
• Previous experience in the food manufacturing sector is advantageous
• Knowledge or experience in steam systems, confined spaces, elevated work platforms (EWP), and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding is a plus
