Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician within KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operation, safety, and improved performance of elevators and escalators. Your work will involve regular maintenance, responding to service requests, and fostering a strong service-oriented relationship with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering quality services and providing timely, clear on-site communication including callout ETAs and job details.
• Accurately report all work performed at the equipment level in real time.
• Ensure equipment safety and proper functioning by identifying risks and taking immediate action following escalation procedures when necessary.
• Manage unplanned repairs in response to equipment requirements.
• Guarantee the safety of end-users and site while adhering to safe working methods and maintenance safety guidelines.
• Complete scheduled service visits including preventive maintenance, callouts, and repairs within established timeframes and quality standards.
• Raise potential sales opportunities to supervisors based on observations during service activities.
• Submit timesheets accurately corresponding to the executed work.
• Maintain service tools, vehicle, and instruments in good condition and secure.
• Provide regular updates to supervisors regarding job and site status.

Qualifications and Skills

• ITI or Vocational Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic IT and digital literacy skills are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting with a recognized elevator company.
