Key Responsibilities
- Ensure excellent customer relationships by engaging with site contacts and end users, adopting a proactive service attitude.
- Maintain customer satisfaction through high-quality service and clear, timely onsite communications including estimated time of arrival, job updates, and debriefing.
- Wear and maintain clean and presentable KONE uniforms at all times during site visits.
- Communicate equipment safety and condition status to customers post-visit and recommend corrective measures per local protocols.
- Guarantee safety of end users and all site personnel during service visits.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering strictly to maintenance and safety guidelines, and consult the Technical Helpdesk when necessary.
- Conduct service operations including planned maintenance, callouts, repairs, and 24/7 service timely and within quality standards.
- Take prompt action on any high-risk findings, following escalation procedures to inform relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential repair opportunities during service visits, execute on-site when possible, or raise sales leads.
- Plan daily workload efficiently in coordination with supervisors.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of work completed and materials used to support customer communication and billing accuracy.
- Manage local stock including shelves, inventory, and transfers.
- Maintain service tools, vehicle, and instruments in good condition and ensure their safety.
- Contribute ideas and feedback for product, process, and safety enhancements to supervisors and quality teams.
- Report near-miss incidents proactively to supervisors.
Competence Development
- Engage actively in continuous learning through on-the-job training, peer learning, and formal training courses including e-learning and classroom sessions.
- Inform supervisors or Technical Helpdesk about any knowledge or skill gaps.
- Provide training and coaching to team members as delegated by supervisors.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant education or experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Vertical Transportation fields.
- Experience in elevator and escalator industry is advantageous.
- Proven customer interaction experience in technical or service environments.
- Strong knowledge of electronics and control systems.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage field operations effectively.
- Dedicated to maintaining workplace safety and operational excellence.
