Role Overview

KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is in a phase of expansion across seven regions and is seeking Maintenance Technicians who possess a strong service orientation to deliver professional support to customers. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the team ensuring smooth daily operations by performing scheduled maintenance, attending emergency call-outs, and working proactively to enhance equipment safety and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by ensuring service excellence and providing clear, proactive communication on-site, including callout timelines and job execution details.
• Maintain precise, real-time records of work performed at the equipment level for accurate reporting.
• Guarantee safety and optimal performance of elevator and escalator equipment in your care.
• Identify and report any site hazards to supervisors promptly, and take immediate action where high-risk scenarios arise, following escalation protocols.
• Detect and document unplanned repair needs arising during service visits.
• Implement safe working practices in line with maintenance and safety procedures.
• Complete service visits—planned maintenance, call-outs, and repairs—adhering strictly to schedules, quality standards, and allocated time frames.
• Report sales opportunities to supervisors for further action.
• Submit accurate timesheets reflecting work carried out.
• Maintain and safeguard all tools, vehicles, and equipment necessary for service delivery.
• Keep supervisors regularly informed about all relevant updates and developments.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of ITI or Vocational Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation engineering streams, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic IT skills are preferred and candidates with foundational digital literacy are highly suitable.
• Demonstrated 2 to 5 years of solid practical experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting within a reputable elevator servicing company.
