About the Role
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician position at a globally recognized manufacturing company based in Canning Vale, Western Australia. This permanent full-time opportunity offers an annual salary of $85,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on daily maintenance, repairs, and servicing of factory machinery.
- Coordinate and communicate with external contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute recommendations for optimizing production processes by minimizing risks, costs, and waste.
- Assist in increasing factory capacity to accommodate future growth initiatives.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities considering seasonal production demands.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated motivation to succeed and willingness to understand the business from the ground up.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is beneficial due to the specialized nature of equipment.
- Experience in managing site maintenance procurement with emphasis on cost reduction of spare parts.
- Passion for leadership and development of team members, including formulating operator maintenance schedules.
- Proven track record in executing process engineering projects.
- Mechanical technician experience is preferred; however, strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude are valued.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a permanent role with a well-known international manufacturer offering a salary package of $85,000 plus superannuation per year.
